Our veterinary team in St. Peters welcomes you and your pet!

Here at Cave Springs Pet Hospital, we always welcome new clients and patients to our full-service veterinary practice in St. Peters, MO. We usually are booking about 1-2 weeks out for new clients.

We provide veterinary care to pets in the following areas: St. Charles, O’Fallon, St. Peters, St. Louis, Wentzville, and Troy, to list a few.

We know you will be very happy with our services. Our veterinarians and staff are devoted to staying on top of the latest diagnostics, treatments, and wellness programs to maintain your pet’s optimal health. Let’s work together to keep your beloved furry friend happy and healthy!

Preparing & Arrival

Before you arrive for you appointment please make sure to have new client paperwork filled out and submitted no less than 24 hours of your scheduled appointment.You can find the forms tab at the top of the home page. This will allow us to be prepared, and ready for you. When you arrive for your appointment please find a parking spot and come on in to our lobby. We will greet you and your pet and get you started. If you prefer to remain curbside just call us.

Medical History

For new clients and new patients please bring any medical history that you have for your pet. Don't worry if medical history is unavailable, we will still provide the best care for your pet. Medical history should be sent to us via email, prior to the appointment so we are prepared in advance of your arrival.

Examination

Once your patient has been weighed and placed in an exam room, one of our CSR team members will verify your personal information. Next, the technician will take a brief medical history in preparation for the doctor. Your veterinarian will then examine your pet, ask you further questions and then may recommend diagnostic tests if needed. Once tests have been run, which can usually be done in the practice, your doctor will discuss a possible diagnosis and treatment plan if warranted.

Questions

This is a great time to share your concerns and ask any questions that you have regarding you pet. Our team wants to make sure that you're completely comfortable with the information that we are providing.

Processing

Our veterinary technician will come back in the exam room and wrap things up with you and make sure you don't have additional questions. At this time, you will exit exam room to. the front desk, and a team member will process payment for you.

PETLAND

We are one of three participating practice providers who service Petland puppies. We provide the 1st initial free exam ($70.00 value) This exam is part of your purchase contract and is highly recommended. When you call to make an appointment with us, we always try to accommodate the mandated 4-day window that you are given. However, there are times when extensions will have to be requested by you from Pet Solutions. Please be sure to bring contract paperwork to the visit and a fecal sample for parasite testing. The parasite test will be an additional fee and is NOT part of the free exam. Please have new client paperwork submitted online prior to your initial visit.
